Sharing Your Faith
"Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone” (Colossians 4:4-6).

God is challenging you to reach fellow students through a campus club. The best way to get started is to make the commitment to become a campus missionary.

Living It Out
“What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone? Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, ‘good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well’—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do? So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless” (James 2:14-17, New Living Translation).

In the second chapter of James we learn that just talking about our faith doesn’t cut it. Our faith and our actions should go hand in hand. You can live out your faith through club projects, such as canned food drives, volunteer work for the school, and holiday gift baskets for the less fortunate.

The People
Instead of involving only a single denomination, your club can blend multiple denominations in an effort to present the gospel of Jesus Christ. God has designed us to lean on each other for support. Your campus club is a place where Christian students can come together and unite, rather than be divided by differences. Here they can share their needs with other students, request prayer, and receive encouragement from the Word of God. Make it your goal to involve as many Christians from as many churches as possible.
